The spirit of this collection of galleries is based on the ideas developed in the article America's Cruisin' Art & Culture, published in the Spring issue of Escondido CITY Magazine. The article develops the idea that cruisin' in hot rods and customs is an art & culture phenomenon — a phenomenon that emerges from an autocatalytic mix of cars as performance art, streets as the stage, and an enthusiastic audience.
